A List; Unfinished Business
I want to lay and listen to Joni Mitchell, on Vinyl. I want to hold your face in my hands and kiss your wrinkles. I want to listen to you sing and watch you sing karaoke. I want to walk on the beach with you. I want to hold hands. I want to listen to your story, every time you tell it. I want you to repeat yourself. I want to learn your boundaries and I want to hold them. I want to love you. I want to learn how giving you space is loving you. I want to cuddle. I want to dance in love. To breathe in love. To give and receive your love. I want to know you. I want to camp every other week in our cars. I want our bodies to be as comfortable as our minds. I want to know your dreams and which ones you want to live first. I want to dream with you. I want to go lawn bowling. I want to write letters. I want to shop for groceries. I want to laugh and laugh and laugh. I want to cry with you, to you, for you. I want to give you my shoulder to cry on. I want to learn from you. I want to yell at you and to trust you. I want to sit by fires, watch movies, and play video games. I want to know what you believe in. I want to believe in you. I want to hear about eighth grade, who you were and how you are that now. I want to kiss your shoulders and let you kiss mine. I want to be your friend. A best friend and I want honesty to live between us. I want to call you when I think of you. I want to go on adventures, any adventure, with you because I know you are as curious as I am. I want to drink beer with you. I want to see you drunk. I want to hear about your day and I want to share mine. I want to share my world with you and I want to learn yours.
