Yoda's Love Life

"Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future." -Yoda

Yoda’s love is the force. It runs to the beginning and end of all time. It is a delicate balance of presence, awareness, and detachment. His love does not guarantee the future, or dwell on the past, but rather rests on the awareness placed in each moment. The awareness of what we are connected to, not separate from.  Yoda’s love was extensive, his purpose was to train and teach the Jedi’s to align themselves with the force. He may have been crafted as a little green guy to completely abolish the potential for romantic feelings.

Yoda lived moment to moment. He would drive any modern romantic crazy, with zero to no gratification for the ego. However, his support for other people to seek the truth that is seeking them is what romantic relationships must be lacking. He warns “The shadow of greed that is. Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.” If Yoda were in love, his partner would be free to tap into their universal energy. Sex would be a work of the cosmos. There would be intention in every move of their hands and bodies. The climax would rival the big bang, and when the energy of that heat transferred back into the cosmos they would rest in only love

The future would be irrelevant. There would be no fear, no jealousy, no question. Only trust that each every act is an expression of the universe. In love, there is often the fear of losing love. Love is an energy that has the ability to grow and leave without warning. If we try to hold on, we deny love it’s truth. “Always with you what cannot be done. Hear you nothing that I say? You must unlearn what you have learned. Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.” If Yoda is right about the force, and the force is everything, and love is one of the energies of the force, then the only way to be in love is to do love. There is no try, there is only tapping into the spirit bigger than us, and expressing it.

The love of Yoda would be an active love. A love of doing. Of existing within and expressing the universal frequencies. Of trusting our hearts and bodies and minds as they pull or push us to and from things. A universal curiosity, and a state of being. “Fear is the path to the dark side… fear leads to anger… anger leads to hate…. hate leads to suffering.” When fear is present, we cannot love. If we love from a place of consciousness. Of being in touch with ourselves, and then everything that connects us to the universe, we attract the love we need to help us on our paths. When the love we seek finds us, our paths run together. There is no confusion with Yoda. Yoda didn’t have time for games. He knew that the future was always in motion and that aligning ourselves in the present moment is the way we play our part in the universe.
